I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve last posted.  We got a new camera ($$$) and the pictures are too big to post on my site and I’ve been asking Jessie to resize them for me so I can post, but alas…Mr. Procrastination rules.  So I’m posting without pictures of the wonderful food that was our holiday feast.   It was all very delicious..I hope that helps.  We had a super duper Merry Christmas.  The best one yet since we’ve been together.  It was so much fun to watch Lukas interact with his new toys when people kept telling us he wouldn’t take an interest in them quite yet.  It was also really fun just to have the three of us….it was nice and quiet.  That was one of the things that really sucked about living back east……we were obligated to go see everybody.  Christmas was always so hectic with having to drive to and from Butt-Fuck Pennsylvania and then all over friggin Clarksburg.  We always talked about how much we wished we could just have a nice, quiet, relaxed holiday without having to entertain or visit people.  I know some people don’t mind all the crap, but it really got to Jessie and I and we really enjoyed the past two Christmas’s we’ve spent out here.  No having to eat four differnt Christmas dinners, not having to sit and stare at people because you have nothng to talk about, and not having to be around people you really don’t like just because it’s the holidays. 

As a side note, if you guys are curious as to when I update my blog, you can subscribe to my page and you will get an email update telling you when I’ve blogged instead of having to visit the site all the time to see.  On the left-hand side of the home page there is a link where you subscribe and you basically just input your email.  No SPAM, I promise, you’ll only get an email when I blog.  You don’t have to subscribe, it’s there for YOUR convenience, but I thought I’d point that out to you. 

I’ve just got this really weird calm, happy thing going on right now.  It’s totally out of character for me and I’m sure it will change after Jessie goes back to work.  It’s all the holiday and merry wishing crap affecting me.  I posted almost 200 pictures on Flickr and Jessie will soon have his stupid site back up and will be posting a video of us on Christmas morning.  That’s about all I can offer you right now.  Oh, and in Flickr, you’ll see my super duper naughty Christmas present.  It’s VERY naughty, and I’m so ashamed of myself for owning it.  BAD BAD SOMER.

Today was, well it was blah.  We went out and bought a new bedroom suite, so that was nice.  Helen!  Feel better!  It blows t be sick on Christmas!  Thinking of all you guys,   ~Somer

Roast Chicken and Roasted Vegetables

Didn’t cook for day two….we went out to dinner and I got a LITTLE snoggered.  Ever since I had Lukas, I’ve enjoyed drinking more than usual and that IS NOT saying that Lukas is a stress, it’s just saying that sometimes mommy’s need a drink. 

And also mommy’s sometimes need a sundae twice as big as daddy’s.  And an Irish coffee with WAAY too much whiskey.  I had a great time.  I love my life.
