Pissed Off-Ness
Admit it…nothing sends you into a horrible cussing rage quicker than stubbing your toe or smashing/burning one of your fingers.

Ok, this is mostly for Helen, but anybody else who might take an interest in it, I hope this helps. I know I blogged about it once before when I was using it before I got pregnant, but I’ll rehash because Helen forgets stuff all the time because she is a crackhead. I lost 3 inches off my waist from using a free website called SparkPeople. It’s not about dieting and it’s not about fads. It’s about good old fashioned healthy eating and exercising. You can choose to go at it alone and use the tools they give you, or you can take advantage of the vast community of other users or leaders. It’s really nice. You can track your calories, you can add goals and they tell you exactly what you need to do to reach that goal, and they really just let you choose how you want to do it. It’s great. I’m on week two of it and I’ve lost almost 4 pounds already. There’s this HUGE database of foods to input that you might have eaten, and even if you are naughty and go to a fast food restaurant, the food is in the database and you can know how many calories you’ve eaten. You don’t have to deal directly with a consultant and you aren’t obligated to do weekly weigh ins. You take it all at your own pace. I also like that it’s not about dieting. It’s about making a lifestyle change and being smart about what you eat. You don’t have to deprive yourself, but you have to be smart. Like for me, I WILL NOT give up some of my junk food and I’m not going to starve myself. I love to eat and I love food and this website totally appreciates that and just tries to teach and instill a better knowledge of food. So check it out, seriously. If you’re interested in being healthier and you’re leary of diets, try this place. I love it. And thanks Stephanie for posting about it all a long time ago. It’s helped me a lot.
