Oh Give Me a Break!

I love horror movies.  This is no secret.  This past weekend, I had Jessie rent a couple werewolf movies because werewolves are my favorite movie monster.  Werewolf movies, in general, blow gigantic ass…..and sadly these movies were no excpetion.  The first one we watched, the werewolf looked like a yeti.  Seriously, it was a dude in a monkey costume that had really long white fur..like an effing yeti.  So, disappointed and on about my third drink, we popped in the second werewolf movie.  In this one, the werewof costume was so cheap and so bad that every time the monster was in a shot, the focus went fuzzy…..I guess so you couldn’t see zippers or buttons or the name brand of the blue jeans the guy was wearing.  It was really terrible, but it had a great line in it.  What was going on, is that this werewolf was stalking the woods and clearing out local wildlife so game wardens were called in to kill it, and they thougt it was a wild animal rogue, like a mountain lion or a bear.  The lead game warden is briefing the other guys and giving them their orders.

Lower Rank Warden:  "It sounds like you’re not sure what this thing is.  How will we know it when we see it?"

Head Dude:  "It will be the big ugly bastard trying to eat you."

I guess the vanilla vodka might also have had an impact on this being extremely funny to me.

Ok…maybe it’s just I don’t like horror/any scary movie in general, lol…but wasn’t the thing in Silver Bullet a werewolf??? THAT THING was scary! That movie was scary! I HATE SCARY F*&#ING MOVIES!!! But anyway…I can’t remember if that was a werewolf movie or not? I think Gary Busey(sp?) played in it…but that’s really all I remember other than I wanted to cry and run away from the tv, lol.

i loved silver bullet… but not till i was a little older.. i watched it one halloween when i was younger and i was soooo afraid to go trick or treating…lol.. but once i got older i really liked it. I havent watched a good scary movie in a while, all the ones that are being made now seem to be remakes of old movies… and what fun is that when you already know what the hell is going to happen. The worst movie that I have watched that i thought might be kinda good was The Wicker Man…. if you havnt watched it… dont waste your time, and if you have already…. sorry that i didnt warn you sooner. One of my fav. sacry movies… is probably Dead Alive…lol.. its not scary but more funny.. and when the main character takes the zombie baby to the park is one of my favorite parts..lol

I LOVE Dead Alive. That movie is hilarious. Peter Jackson directed that, you know (Lord of the Rings). The part where the grandmother pops that gross boil into that guy’s custard and he eats it makes me want to puke, but in a good way.

There was a movie when I was a kid that made me want to shit my pants. I have NO idea what it was called and I can only remember bits and pieces, but I would LOVE to watch it now. It wasn’t an “alien” movie…but things were in the ground. For some reason my memory makes me think they were some kind of alien creature and living under ground…but they’d suck you under sand and shit like that. Damn I wish I knew that it was called. I think eventually a guy got sucked down and it was like all red down there…I dunno, lol.
