Wanna Take a Peek??

Datester.com is live.  Take a peek.  It’s not perfect yet, there are still a few tiny bugs, but I happen to think that it looks terrific.  If you guys want to contribute, again, we’ll pay.

    We’re still tweaking the design and layout, but i think it’s really melded into a great site. I am so proud of it. Now we just need some traffic.

    What is the ultimate goal of the site? Is it to meet people? Or just a basic “guide” to dating?

    It’s not really a “guide” to dating, no. I have bloggers who have interesting stories that other people can relate to…that part is basically just blogging. You know, for entertainment purposes. There will also be a section (we’re still working on this one) that is a database of over 900 dating sites. It took me many many many hours of scouring the web for dating sites. A lot of them a niche sites, for the square pegs among us like the nerds, lesbians, gay men, goths, people who love golf, people who went to WVU, and all that stuff as well as the big dating sites and we will work towards having a review written for every one of those sites so that users will know if it’s generic, is it easy to use, how many users do they have, is it free, that kind of stuff.

    So yeah, it’s a lot about blogging and telling moving, funny, and socially relevant stories about love and dating but also about helping people find the right dating site for them.
