I too am sick of hearing ohh you live in western Virginia. i am 42 and was born in NJ. Every visit to N.J. would elicit mockery of my speech or one of the other greats that you mentioned. I love West Virginia and all it's beauty. This may not be the land of prosperity; but i ; like other West Virginians take great pride in this state. I've heard it said that we are ten years behind other states. So be it. When the sress of everyday life becomes too much; we as West Virginians have the privilege of serenity right at our finger tips. Fishing, hiking, great rapids, hunting, camping, beautiful mountains and caring persons to help us make it through another day. We have a small piece of heaven and prosperity has nothing to do with it; it's ours.

ROFLMAO. You are a hoot. Now, the series doesn't start until Saturday, but you will be linked on the original article. Next thing you'll have to consider are some posts about your current neck of the woods, so we can know about places we need to see there! Thanks for joining in the fray.
