Shelley grows her own garden, and when I lived in nutterfort I had a small one also. I like a tomato that's not injected with crap that may cause cancer. I'll take my own tomato over store bought anyday! I'm trying to eat better right now anyhow. It's stupid to kill myself at the gym and then eat mcdonalds, LOL! So I'm gradually trying to do things differently. I'm really proud of myself with the gym. I've only gone to a gym like 2 other times. I was always with someone else. I'm proud I'm doing it by myself bc I have a difficult time doing new things...ESPECIALLY alone. But I have really enjoyed knowing I'm doing this for me and only me...not bc I was just hanging out with a friend(though I always had a good time at the gym with a friend too, but I never went back, LOL). Now the hard part is sticking with it.

Good for you, doll! The most important thing to remember is that you will slip. You'll stop going for a week or so. The hard part is not convincing yourself that you've fucked up any progress and make yourself start going again and not give up completely.

This time I'm going into with baby steps. I'm not trying to leap first. I've been doing 1 mile a day so far. I'm going at it at a good power walk (fat people should never run anyhow, LOL). I'm just going to try to build up little by little. I don't want to skip a week, but I am paying a fee to exercise (which is crazy too) so I'll keep with it I hope.

I found it really interesting that you can grow stuff even in a small patch. I'm renting too and we don't even have the small patch, the best I can do is a windowsill, but reading your post has inspired me to give my basil plant a chance there, and maybe expand my herb garden a little!

Thanks
